If you notice a noise when braking Follow
Please take note that our Brake pads are made with ceramic/metallic components, which make them last longer but can be a bit more noisy.
When brakes are newly made, there is a possibility of feeling soft at first or noisy due to a protective products on the pads. It is natural and will go away after a few rides.
If you notice a noise when braking, can be a rubbing or squealing noise, try those several options :
1 - Clean the disc with rubbing alcohol, cleaning engine product but NO grease. Give it a test ride to see how it feels.
2 - Tighten the hand brake lever on your handlebar with a 2.5mm Allen key, 2/3 revolution clockwise should be enough. Give it a test ride to see how it feels.
3 - Re-centre the brake pads: In order to do that, locate the 2 Allen bolts on the bottom and top of your brake calliper.
Step 1 : Unscrew counter clockwise those 2 bolts just a few revolution, enough to feel the caliper moving with your finger.
Step 2 : While holding the brake lever associated to the caliper you are working on, re-tight the Allen bolts.
TIP : Clockwise, give 1 revolution each until they are tight to the max
Give it a test ride to see how it feels.
